Short-term care, often called “respite,” can be as short as a weekend or as long as several months; whatever length of stay is right for your individual situation. Short-Term Stays Short-term stays are available for when you need a short break from caring for your loved one or when you or a loved one needs a little extra care following a hospital stay, or when recovering from an illness or an injury. It is also provides a wonderful opportunity to evaluate how assisted living would work for your individual situation.   Respite care residents receive the same programs and services as full-time residents. Respite care residents receive: ● Private apartment, comfortably furnished with bed, nightstand, comfy chair and TV ● Breakfast, lunch and dinner and a variety of snacks ● Medication assistance and administration as needed ● Structured activities planned ● All scheduled activities, trips and programs   Respite care is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year at all of our licensed assisted living centers. Adult Day Care For those who care for a loved one at home, adult day care is available when you need a few hours or a full day (or night) to go to work, run errands for any reason, even to just catch a nap. Adult day care allows the family caregiver to take a break and be confident your family member is being looked after by competent personnel. ● Available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year ● Medication assistance and administration as needed ● Breakfast, lunch and dinner and a variety of snacks provided ● Structured activities planned ● Areas for quiet time made available as needed   Day care is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year at all of our licensed assisted living centers.
