Short-Term Stays Short-term stays are available for when you need a short break from caring for your loved one or when you or a loved one needs a little extra care following a hospital stay, or when recovering from an illness or an injury. Adult Day Care For those who care for a loved one at home, adult day care is available when you need a few hours or a full day (or night) to go to work, run errands for any reason, even to just catch a nap.
