"I just want to take a minute to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for everything you & Michael have done (and so quickly) to help mom & dad. This opportunity for them truly is an answer to some pretty frantic prayers as of late, and I simply don't have the words to express how much we appreciate your efforts and this wonderful outcome. Dad is so excited he will be close to mom - he was literally crying last night.
"Thanks again - your efforts speak volumes of what Appledorn does for people."

“Sheldon Meadows came highly recommended to us from another resident’s family and from our church family. It is such a beautiful home, so clean and tidy, with a very warm atmosphere. It is as close to having her living at home as we could ever expect. All of the staff was so welcoming and friendly, not only to our mother but to all our family. It cheers us to come to Sheldon Meadows and to know our mother is very much at home here.”

“After a lot of research, looking for the best assisted living community I could find for the guardianship of a World War II veteran, I found Railside. It satisfied all of the needs required. The chef is flexible and I have found there to be many staff members in the hallways at all times. There are always a variety of games, recreation and television. Medicine supervision is a big plus. Religious preferences are accommodated and there is much attention to individual personal needs.”

“My mother is a very independent woman, so we had concerns on how she would accept the move to assisted living. But Mom couldn’t be happier and is getting involved in all kinds of new activities. She loves the social interaction she gets with the other residents and the staff. Plus she really looks forward to the three meals a day.”

“We are very satisfied with the care our mother has received as a resident of Edgewood Assisted Living Center and recommend your community every chance we get! It’s always clean and well maintained. The food menu and food presentation is excellent. In fact, the entire staff is excellent. The caregivers are dedicated, pleasant and polite to our mom and all of our questions and concerns are always addressed.”

“When I think of Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center, I think of the warm, loving and caring staff. Warm smiles, respectable mannerisms, energetic and big hearts describes the caregivers and staff.
“I see the encouragement given to the residents to get involved in activities. I love that the staff calls all the residents by their names; you can see how important it is to them. It’s those little things the nurses and aides do that make our dad feel so comfortable living there.
“We feel blessed knowing that our dad is being so well taken care of.”

“Mom is very happy with Appledorn and is very content with her daily life. She loves all the ‘fun’ activities and gets herself involved in all that goes on with great enthusiasm. Our family thinks this has been the best move we could have made.”

“My mom has been a resident at the Edgewood Living Center for two and a half years and my aunt for the past year. Both of them had a difficult transition moving from their homes to a care facility and I really appreciate how your staff went out of their way to make both of them feel welcome in their new home. I wish to commend the entire staff for their kindness, courtesy and helpfulness -- always a smile, a kind word and time to speak with everyone. The nursing staff has been particularly helpful and never seems bothered by questions or interruptions in their schedules.
“My mother and my aunt are very happy at Edgewood and knowing that has taken a huge burden off of me. I am most grateful that we found you and recommend Edgewood to anyone in a similar situation.”

“After my father had a stroke, his physician encouraged us to consider assisted living for him. He agreed to move to Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center on a ‘temporary’ basis. Seminole Shores has been a perfect fit for him. The kind and caring staff knew exactly how to get him involved in activities that has helped him gain a new outlook on life.
“Today dad is the picture of health; he is happier and more social than ever. His day is so full that we check the activity schedule before we visit to make sure that he will have time to spend with us because he doesn’t want to miss a thing.”

“After deciding to give up my ranch, my daughter took me ‘shopping’ to find the right assisted living community. We toured quite a few before we visited Bay Ridge. When we walked in the door I felt at home and moved in in 2007. I have never regretted doing so.
“The entire staff is excellent! From maintenance, cooks, laundry, housekeeping, nursing, activities and administration — you couldn’t ask for more. We are one big family here caring for each other.”

“In February 2009, I slipped in my driveway and broke my wrist and knee. After a two-month stay in rehab, I was afraid to go home because I lived alone. I stayed at Edgewood Assisted Living Center for three months during the winter and continued to get stronger. I went home in July but plan to return for the winter to avoid the ice and snow.”

“Your loving care and support far exceeds our expectations. Whatever we need, you willingly provide to mom and dad AND to us. You have made us all feel like we are part of the living center’s family. You are an awesome staff!”

“Thank you. Somehow these two words seem so inadequate when trying to express the appreciation we have for everyone who touched mom’s life while in your care. Your care extended to our entire family during the memorial service held at Railside.”
