The caring staff at “The Terrace”—our specialized memory care unit—are dedicated and trained to address the special needs of our residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or other memory impairments.
Here, the environment has been designed to reduce stress and confusion. This modified environment makes fewer demands on lost skills and often results in reduced anxiety and greater ability to function on a day-to-day basis—ultimately enhancing the quality of life for the person with impairments.
Our staff receives specialized training to understand the challenges facing an individual with memory impairment.
