Welcome to The Village at Rosy Mound, a Grand Haven senior living community where we aim to offer you the retirement lifestyle you deserve, at a price you can afford. The Village at Rosy Mound is a new, modern senior community that’s built with residents in mind. Residents of The Village at Rosy Mound are 55 years and older, who want a luxurious, spacious home, without the hassle that comes with keeping up a more traditional-style home. The Village at Rosy Mound is conveniently located just south of Grand Haven, adjacent to the beautiful Rosy Mound natural area and minutes from multiple grocery and shopping centers.

The Village at Rosy Mound works to offer our residents a variety of housing options to best suit each individuals’ needs. When you choose to live here, you’ll have the option of one or two-bedroom apartments in our state-of-the-art Village building, or a two bedroom cottage that’s separate from The Village building, but still on The Village at Rosy Mound campus. The Village at Rosy Mound living spaces offer controlled access and inviting community rooms so that each and every resident is able to join in on fun community activities.

At the VIllage at Rosy Mound, you have the option to choose from either apartment or cottage living spaces, with one and two-bedroom floorplans available. No matter which option you choose, your new home will feature the following amenities:

Our Pet Policy

For many of us, home just isn’t the same without your favorite four-legged companion. Whether that’s a dog or a cat, the Village at Rosy Mound welcomes your furry friend. Pets do require their own pet deposit, as well as a copy of your pet’s current vaccination records and spay/neuter certificate. Please understand that for security reasons, there are some restrictions on the size and type of pet allowed at the Village at Rosy Mound.

Materials required for registration:

Collar to be worn by animal at all times, which includes license tag, owner name, rabies tag, and inoculations tag
Photograph of animal, no smaller than 3”x5”
Current, veterinarian-approved rabies certificate
Proof of license (per local governing entity)
Proof of neutering or spaying

Part of our holistic approach to independent senior living community life includes access to preventative care services that help you stay healthy and strong. We always strive to put the health and wellness of our residents first, by offering a top-of-the-line continuum of care community, as well as the following health and wellness services:

Monthly opportunities to “Ask the Nurse”

Out & About

We understand that not all of our residents have access to a vehicle, and we work to organize regular activities and bus trips that take you out and about Grand Haven. From regular old grocery runs to more fun shopping center and library excursions, our out and about services are included in your monthly fee to the Village at Rosy Mound, and are geared to be both fun and helpful. We always take resident requests into consideration when scheduling new excursions, but regularly scheduled bus trips head to:

Nearby grocery stores and supermarkets
Malls, shopping centers, and area department stores
The library
Area Restaurants

Add-On Services

Because we believe our residents shouldn’t have to pay for anything they don’t need, we offer the following optional add-on services at a nominal fee:

Personal laundry service – Whether you just need your linens taken care of, or you’d like all of your laundry washed by our fastidious employees, know that our personal laundry service can take one chore off your list.
Delicious homemade meals – Homemade meals are served daily in our elegant dining room, and all residents have access to those meals for a small fee. If cooking just isn’t your thing, know that weekly meal packages are also available.
Full-service beauty salon and barber
Housekeeping services – Our friendly, thorough housekeeping staff is available at your convenience. Whether you need a bit of help with holiday cleaning, or you’d prefer a bi-weekly housekeeper to tidy your home, you can schedule housekeeping services when it suits you.
Handyperson – If you’ve got a few odd jobs around the house you need fixed up, our handyperson is available to help.

There are a variety of activities going on at the Village at Rosy Mound every day. We aim to schedule activities that our residents genuinely want to participate in, because we believe that an independent senior living community should be more than just a housing option.
